Ace Your Game with Rita Jags Softball

Born and raised in Stamford Connecticut, Rita grew up playing Softball and has loved the game and everything about it ever since.

• 4-year Varsity starter at Stamford Catholic High School

• ALL FCIAC 1st Team Honors

• Coached and played at competitive Travel Leagues

• Competed against many former National Olympic Gold Team Members. 

• High School Softball Coach at Trinity Catholic, both, as an Assistant and Head Varsity Coach. 

• Trinity Catholic girls conditioning specialists for both the softball and basketball programs  

• Currently coaches at the Darien High School Softball Program and is the Head Coach of the Connecticut (CT) Rams 14U – Jags team and director of the CT Rams Elite Fastpitch Program

Rita coaches and mentors each player, through private lessons, to improve and enhance their skills to reach the next level.  With her extensive fitness knowledge, education and expertise she has been instrumental in assisting athletes who want to play at the collegiate level.    

Rita’s background is in exercise and fitness graduating from Springfield College where she earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Exercise Science.  Her love for fitness has brought her full circle to nutrition.  Rita’s passion for nutrition and overall health has helped many clients (of all ages, children to adults) achieve their overall well-being goals. 

Rita’s coaches and leads by example. Her main goal is to first teach and instruct the game of softball the way it was meant to be played and to empower young athletes’ and instills confidence in them both on and off the field. 

Rita resides in Stamford, Connecticut and owns a successful Fitness Training and Consulting company for over 15 years. She had helped many clients from Fairfield County reach and maintain their health and fitness goals.
